Managing Challenging Situations – for GP Appraisal Co-ordinators

Managing Challenging Situations

A course for Appraisal Coordinators

Duration:                   One Day

Aim:

As Appraisal Co-ordinators we have to face challenging staff situations from time to time, however some of us deal with them more effectively and with less stress than others.  Developing good practice when dealing with issues such as non-compliance, low motivation, poor attendance, intransigence and inappropriate behaviour can help us to both reduce the occurrence of these events and deal with them more effectively and efficiently when they happen.  This course helps you to reflect on your existing strategies and develop some new techniques to help you through some of these personal challenges.
